1. No Refund Policy
SMSForwarding.com operates on a no-refund policy for all subscription plans. Once a subscription payment has been processed, it is non-refundable, regardless of:
- How much of the billing period you have used
- Whether you have actively used the Service or not
- Whether you decide to cancel your subscription mid-period
- Whether you switch to a lower-tier plan or downgrade
- Dissatisfaction with any feature or aspect of the Service
This policy applies to all subscription tiers and billing cycles (monthly and annual). It applies to customers worldwide, subject only to the exceptions described in Section 3.
2. What You Are Paying For
When you subscribe to a paid plan, you are purchasing access to the SMSForwarding.com platform for the duration of your billing period. This includes:
- Access to the web dashboard, REST API, and all features included in your chosen plan
- The ability to register Android gateway devices up to your plan limit
- SMS forwarding (incoming) and outgoing SMS dispatch within your plan quota
- Webhook configuration and delivery
- Technical support via email
Cancellation vs. Refund
Cancelling your subscription and requesting a refund are two different things. When you cancel, your subscription will not renew at the next billing date and you will not be charged again. However, you will retain full access to all paid features until the end of your current billing period — and no refund is issued for the remaining unused portion of that period.
3. Exceptions — When We Will Issue a Refund
We will issue a full or partial refund only in the following limited circumstances:
Billing Error
If you were charged an incorrect amount, charged more than once for the same billing period, or charged after a confirmed cancellation — we will investigate and issue a full refund for the erroneous charge(s). You must report billing errors within 30 days of the charge appearing on your account.
Extended Service Outage
If the Service is completely unavailable — not degraded, but entirely inaccessible — for more than 7 consecutive days due to a fault on our part (not your device, SIM carrier, or internet connection), and you reported the issue to us during that period, we will issue a pro-rated credit or refund for the affected period at our discretion.
Refund requests under these exceptions must be submitted to [email protected] with your account email, a description of the issue, and the transaction reference from your payment provider. We will respond within 5 business days.
4. How to Cancel Your Subscription
You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation is effective at the end of your current billing period — you will not be charged again after that date.
- Log in to your account and go to the Subscription page in your dashboard
- Click "Cancel Subscription" and confirm your cancellation
- You will receive an email confirmation of your cancellation
- Your access to paid features continues until the end of the current billing period
- After the billing period ends, your account reverts to the free plan (if available) or is deactivated
If you have trouble cancelling via the dashboard, contact us at [email protected] and we will process the cancellation manually within 1 business day.
Annual plans: If you are on an annual subscription, cancellation prevents the plan from renewing at the next annual date. The remainder of the annual period is not refunded — you retain access through to the end of the year you have paid for.
